ImpressCMS News : Module Update: Impression 1.02 Final is Released

A release addressing a bug fix and adding a few new features has been published for Impression, a module for ImpressCMS by McDonald. The spotlight block now displays categories properly.

In addition, the following features have been added:

  • captcha in submit form
  • option to have categories displayed in blocks
  • a 'bytes more' option for the footer

The 'bytes more' option will indicate the length of the remaining text when viewing the index (summary) page. You can select to display nothing, the bytes remaining, characters remaining, or words remaining.

Impression is a simple article module based on the module imLinks (WF-Links).

It's easy to use and has only a few basic features, see below.

  • Supports WYSIWYG editors: TinyMCE, FCKeditor, Tinyeditor
  • Can create categories and sub-categories
  • Categories can be set invisible in blocks
  • Articles can be assigned to multiple categories
