A new community-driven site was opened today - www.XOOPSaddons.org. The site is a collection of modules, themes, templates, language packs and extensions for the XOOPS platform, allowing complete customization of your XOOPS-based sites.

Currently, XOOPSaddons houses over 400 modules, more than 400  themes and 60 language packs. While not a complete compilation of all the available addons, this collection has reactivated a section long neglected for XOOPS users.

The site also promised multilanguage support in the near future, along with some updated and maintained module packs - starter kits to help get your XOOPS site customized for your needs. A companion demo site is also being planned as a place to test drive the various modules and compare features before adding them to your site.
