CMS News : SimplyWiki 1.01 RC Released
Posted by on 2009/2/14 10:20:00 (1638 reads)

Thanks to all the users that have downloaded and installed SimplyWiki 1.0, a few things were discovered and improvements were necessary. So, this announces the release of SimplyWiki 1.01 RC1 - it is available as a complete install package or as an upgrade package.

Officially - this is an RC release. Do not install on a live site without testing on a copy of your site, or without making a backup of your site

Unofficially - the changes are minor and the resolutions were quite simple. If you like to take risks (and this one is rather small), install or upgrade to this version.

To help us in this plight, I have added PiCal, a calendar module, here at Christian Web Resources. With this calendar, I will share some of the "Big Rocks" that go on my calendar first.

CWR News : Christian Web Resources Celebrates 1-year Anniversary
Posted by on 2008/11/16 10:07:09 (1142 reads)

It's been a year since Christian Web Resources was launched and we're still here providing tips, tricks, guidance, examples, fellowship and encouragement for church and ministry web masters using XOOPS and ImpressCMS.

Admittedly, there hasn't been a ton of activity here, but there are things I am proud of and urge me to continue. For example, shortly after launching, Christian Web Resources hit the 1st page of Google search results for 'xoops resources'. Now, we are in the #1 position at Google and #2 for 'impresscms resources'!  We're also doing pretty good for XOOPS or ImpressCMS + 'church sites'.
