Their information from the Presbyterian Church USA for creating a website is on a page in their root directory (www.pcusa.org/website.htm), but their is no link in the main menu or any other place on the home page to get to this resource. They do have a Resources/Publications link in the main navigation menu, but the website information isn't listed there - it is listed under Congregations.

What I found
The information the Presbyterian Church offers new webmasters is very basic - register your domain, find a web host, publish content. They suggest visiting other congregational websites for ideas on design and content. They use Dreamweaver for their own site, but do acknowledge content management systems as a possibility for publishing your sites. They have a Facebook page, a YouTube channel and a Twitter account. They also have RSS feeds you could use on your sites, or just to monitor for ideas to post on your church's website.
What I didn't find
There was no mention, at all, of even basic content to have on your church website. There also was no mention of integration social media into your church web strategy, even though they are using it themselves.
